This material can be found online at URL
http://spiff.rit.edu/classes/phys350/phys350.html
Outline for the course, class schedule, etc.
This course has three main purposes:
- reviewing all the material you have seen in the first two
years of physics courses
- preparing you to take a two-hour oral exam near the end of the quarter
- helping you to write a paper on a physics-related topic of your choice
and make a 10-minute presentation on that topic
You will need to provide me with a schedule of your classes and other
committments during this quarter, so that I can schedule the
CORE exams. Please mark times at which you are NOT available.
Meetings
The schedule below may shift a bit as the quarter progresses...
- Week 1: Introduction, presentation skills
- Week 2: University Physics I
- Week 3: University Physics II
