In this class, we examined the behavior of a forced harmonic oscillator. The amplitude of the system varied strongly with the driving force's frequency. In the steady state, that amplitude can be written

The maximum amplitude occurs at a frequency which is slightly lower than that of the undamped system -- but how much lower?

Your job is to derive an algebraic expression for the frequency which leads to maximum amplitude, as a function of the parameters ω0, b, m.
