The first topic of today is a handy trick which simplifies solving problems involving motion on a tilted surface:
In the second half of today's class, we'll use Newton's Second Law to predict the motion of two objects tied together in an arrangement called Atwood's machine. After you make a prediction, I will run an experiment in class, and we'll see if your prediction was correct!
