Comparison of analyses of Droege's image "g0483967"

Attached are the following:

• g483smag.pht is a sorted set of over 50 stars from Richmond's file of RA, Dec, and magnitude;
• g483smag.ast is similar, of row and column pixel and magnitude from the "raw" g0483967.pht file;
• gutz1.txt is Gutzwiler's corresponding file, with stars from your file identified on it, and deltas computed for position and magnitude;
• gombert1.txt is Gombert's corresponding file, with stars from your file identified on it, and deltas computed for position and MAGNITUDE (not instrumental values).

As other folks post their star identifications, I'll make similar short lists of the first 50 or so stars for this particular image in the same format. YOu've previously posted the Gombert file, but I'm sending it again for consistancy. Also, I'm sending my working versions of your files so people can see what I'm using. (Drat! I meant you posted the Gutzwiller file, I can't edit my messages well on line when I send attachments...).

After you put these up on the Web page, I'll post an announcment and brief description. I claim these are not much more than "reality checks", so I don't want to devote deep analysis to them. As I said, if they are real, people willchange their softwaere and make new list anyway.
