  Added options to "collate" and "photom" stages of the pipeline
  to support the new "orphan" options.  This allows the user to 
  keep stars detected in only a single passband.

  Modified the "stars" stage so that the new "empscatter" option
  is available as argument to the 'phot' program.  It calculates
  the uncertainty in instrumental magnitude more accurately than
  the default (which assumes the sky has not been subtracted from image).

  Modified the "make_list" stage so that IMAGETYP values are now
  translated into lowercase strings.  The pipeline downstream
  expects to see lowercase "dark", "flat", "object".
