I have now run Mike Gutzwiller's latest version of Star on all my available SMSP A and B data. Michael Richmond please add these files to the home page. Delete all the old data as some of it was processed at a sigma of 5. All this data has been processed with MG's default settings except that sigma was set at 3 per AH's request.
The A data is now on storm.fnal.gov shortly in /incoming. The files are:
as0.zip as1.zip as2.zip
Be warned, there are several files that did not pass the star match test. I have left these in the data so experts can try to tell why. I may try to run again with fewer match stars required. Some of the files were bad, but some looked good to me. These files are:
30t0524.817 Good 30t0524.827 Good 30t0540.785 Good 30t0541.771 Fair- 30t0541.780 Fair-
There is more B data and I may wait until I am at Fermilab tomorrow to load it.
There are 11 days of A data. It is all Good or Fair by my classification. Good means I can't see clouds in the data. i.e. there is little obvious change over the frame. Fair means that I can seem some cloud effect but that it is minor.
The best files are day:
483 493 518 519 545 548The very best files seem to be 483 and 493. Unfortunately, I changed the camera pointing after 493 to get it closer to the equator. Days between 515 and 540 are not very good due to me not paying proper attention to the VCO setting. These files tend to have strung out camera 0 and 2 data.
