I was a student at RIT for a couple of years and graduated last spring and returned back to Ukraine. I surely miss RIT public observing sessions. But I now visit our local astronomy club. My last achievement was a working autoguider based on LX modded QuickCam Pro 3000. I attached a few pictures that I made last Saturday. M31 - 10 exposures 5 minutes each at ISO 1600 with Digital Rebel and Russian Jupiter 21 lens (FL 200mm 1/4) North America 5 exposures 5 minutes each M81-M82 4 exposures 5 minutes It is amazing how much you can do with such simple and short lens. M42 - 4 exposures through Celestron 80ED 2 minutes each. Bad focusing, no guiding. Can't wait to try it again with autoguiding (as I don't have a separate guidescope). Hope you'll like them. Best regards! Denys.
