We originally scheduled an Open House at the RIT Observatory for Friday, May 13, but we're going to relocate due to bad weather. Sorry! We will have another chance for you to look through telescopes when school starts again in the fall.

Please come to learn about astronomy indoors at the Carlson Center for Imaging Sciences, on the main RIT campus. Admission is free and children are welcome. Click on the picture below to enter an interactive Google Map.

You may park in Lot F, which is adjacent to the Carlson Center (also known as Building 76).

Our activities will run from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM. We will provide a lecture describing the latest results on planets around other stars from the Kepler satellite, plus a number of activities for people of all ages which will help you to understand how astronomers study our universe.
