Q:  What do we call planets which are in the clump at upper left?

  A:  These planets are as massive as Jupiter (high on y-axis), but
           they have very small orbits (near the left side of x-axis).
           So they are like Jupiter, except that they orbit very close
           to their host star, instead of far away like our Jupiter.

           We call them "hot Jupiters."
