Homework 5: Basic plans for your class presentation

This homework may be submitted on paper into the mailbox outside my office door (CAR-1274), or via myCourses.

During the final two weeks of the class, each student will give a 5-10 minute presentation on a topic of interest. Your job for the coming week is

• decide on a topic
• look around for good references for that topic
• come up with an "angle" on the topic -- how will you introduce it? What will you say about i?

This week's homework requires you to write a paragraph of at least 4 sentences which describe the topic you plan to present, and what you plan to say about it. You must also provide a minimum of 1 -- but better 2 -- references from which you can extract information on this topic.
