Comments on drafts of the posters

Today, each group will do the following:

• project their "poster" onto the screen
• stand next to it and give a 2-minute presentation
• answer questions from the audience

Each student in the audience -- and each instructor -- will fill out a form after each presentation.

The grade for each group will be determined by a weighted average of the scores received from all viewers.

In addition, each student will given a score for the day based on the quality of the comments she submits. How will we judge the quality?

• missing comments are bad
• repeated very terse comments, such as "not bad" or "fine", are not good
• comments that help the group to improve its poster or presentation are very good
