A:  The uncertainty in parallax measurements for Gaia DR3 was,
            for bright stars, about 0.02 mas = 20 micro-arcsec.


               maximum "good" parallax  ~  10 * 0.02 mas

                                        ~   0.2 mas

            So

               maximum "good" distance  ~  5,000 pc
