This is a factor of 4 more than my last posting and it now shows more than 2000 SDSS images from Blanton's "lowz" catalog. http://cosmo.nyu.edu/hogg/aas205/ Again, each image is 40x40 kpc/h in size and objects are selected randomly, with probability proportional to contribution to the i-band luminosity density of the Universe. The images show less than 10 percent of the lowz catalog, which itself is less than 10 percent of the SDSS spectroscopic sample, so this is a tiny fraction of the SDSS. There are still some clear deblend issues and other problems. Comments appreciated. Hogg -- David W.
