Some 40 million light-years away in Coma Berenices, NGC 4314 provides one of the nearest examples of a barred spiral with a circumnuclear star-forming ring. This color-composite view from the Hubble Space Telescope resolves a spiral-within-a-spiral, rich in young stars, that is just hinted at in the McDonald Observatory image inset below. Courtesy G.
