Use work to predict the motion of a cart

Here's a challenging problem involving the work done by a spring (variable force) and gravity (constant force at an angle to motion) as a cart rolls down a ramp.

• Predict how far the cart will roll down the ramp
• Now see if you are right.

We may finish with one more aspect of work and kinetic energy,

• Taking different trails down a mountain
