Final Grades for Physics 211, Spring 1999

Here are the scores for both sections (day and evening), broken down into percentages of the maximum possible for quizzes, homework, and tests 1 and 2; plus the score on the final exam, which had a possible score of 31.

And here are the total class scores for both sections, both with and without extra credit.

Based on the distribution of scores in the class without extra credit, I assigned grade boundaries as follows:

           88  <= score              A
           79  <= score <  88        B
           62  <= score <  79        C
           49  <= score <  62        D
                  score <  49        F

Below are the scores for each student in the course (both sections combined). The "code" field is the sum of the 3 numbers in the student ID number. Thus, student with ID number 123-45-6789 would have code value 123 + 45 + 6789 = 6957.
