Using the ballistic pendulum to predict the range

Let's repeat the earlier experiment, now that we know the velocity of the ball as it leaves the muzzle.

Here's what we need to do:

  1. measure the vertical distance H = h1 + h2 of the muzzle above the floor
  2. predict the distance L = x1 + x2 that the ball will travel before striking the floor
