Adding waves via phasors

As you may recall from last time, when two two waves have the same frequency and the same amplitude, then it's pretty easy to add them together.

But what if two waves don't have the same amplitude? As long as they still have the same frequency, then there's still a way to add them together without too much work: just use phasors.

Yesterday, we saw how standing waves could be created on a string. Today, let's look at another way to create standing waves, using a tube filled with air.
